Description: In my 40 years of Antiques this surely must be the BEST Set of Boxed Cutlery I have seen or Sold! There are Three Drawers, with everything anyone (Hotel or Home) would need. It is a 12 Place setting and much MORE! There are 12 Knives and 12 Dinner Forks, 12 Knives and 12 Dessert Forks, 12 Fish Knives and 12 Fish Forks--12 Dessert Spoons, 12 Soup Spoons 12 Tea Spoons, 12 Egg Spoons, 6 Table (Serving) Spoons, 2 Butter Knives, 2 Jam Spoons, 1 Sugar Tongs, 1 Pickle Fork, 4 Mustard Spoons, 2 Salt Spoons, 1 Soup Ladle, 2 Sauce Ladles. A Carving set of 2 Knives, 2 Forks and a Sharpener. All this with appropriate Labels in each fitted Drawer. There is a Cartouche on the Lid of the Box allowing Engraving if required. This is in an Oak Box measuring 50.5cm by 36cm. Reasonably Priced yet again I will listen to sensible offers.
This was made between 1885 and 1905 by THE NORTHERN GOLDSMITH COMPANY of NEWCASTLE on TYNE. Total pieces: 146!! IF you find a better Set Complete as this is in the condition this is--Let me know. Thank you.
